Guest guest
After a couple of years of counseling I still felt so discouraged that I still have the same reaction and feelings after the " have a nice life " confrontation with my mom. The therapist recommended " Stop Walking on Eggshells. " She would mention that she had a personality disorder, but until I could read it for myself, I could not really make sense. After just skimming this book, I could not believe what I was reading and how it was so similiar to my situation. I was nearly at tears with the relief to know that is has not been me. I finally get it! Living at home was such a challenge and I thought it would be better once I left home. That was 20 years ago and we still have the same struggles and she has the same struggles. I am looking forward to this new journey and clearing the " FOG " as mentioned in the Essential Family Guide to BPD.
