Guest guest
Huh, I am very very interested in the cause. I don't know much about my nada's childhood. It is hard to get reliable info from her, as you can imagine. Her mother did have " depression " and was treated with shock therapy. But other than that I don't know anything. But, despite how interested I am in the origins and reasons why, I still think society did us a wrong. Whether a mother is unfit because of her choices or her genetics, It doesn't matter. She is still unfit. And it is up to friends, neighbors, grandparents, and even those bitchy ladies at church who nada turned against me to notice a problem and help out a helpless child. That said, I'm going to read all those articles. Thanks for the references. Guest guest
and that makes perfect sense ! that BPD is more then just a thought disorder and is partly do to a brain dysfunction... Guest guest
I believe BPD is a physical malfunction of the brain...my nada was not abused as a child, she was the youngest of 9 and raised almost as an only child because she was a " menopause " baby and the next youngest was 14 years older than she. She was spoiled rotten and allowed to get away with a lot...my aunt ( her sister) always told me nada was a spoiled brat as a kid...so for my nadas case, it wasn't environmental, it must be something not working right within her. I agree with you. It really doesnt matter if she could " help herself " or not, we were wronged by our BPD parents ( and the non BPD parent who allowed this to go on) Jackie > Huh, I am very very interested in the cause.
