Guest guest
Hi Kathy, Was in your shoes just a bit ago. Each stage of this process is difficult and I'm not able to give you any words to help you along. I've tried to keep myself from getting overwhelmed by taking each step as it comes along. Come on here and type away if it helps to get it out of your head or to put things in place. Try also to do something/anything to get away from the process. I'll look out for your posts. Let me know if I can answer any questions or help in any way from my going thru the process (just one step ahead). Kerry 37 IPF '01 S. IN > > Just want to say hello. Guest guest
Good luck to you! I too am in the process…waiting for the Transplant Team at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston to schedule me for my two day evaluation. The specialists at Beth Israel in Boston has sent them all my info (and told me that I should be an excellent candidate!), so I am keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well. I suppose it will be somewhat like waiting for Christmas when I was a kid… J Steve, aka … Knip Plymouth, NH IPF 10/07 Confirmed via VATS 12/

I have a doctor trying to talk me into a transplant but I have tto many other issues including fear. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
