Guest guest
7.0 these days is the highest acceptable for a type 2 diabetic, and i would sure not want to be on it. I am at Yale and right now they want a 6.5 or under. My CDE likes to see it between 6.0 and 6.5. I remember years ago when 7.5 and above was acceptable. Mine was 6.5 and I told her she would see it being lowered for years to come. I dont' think she really believed me, but the last time we talked I reminded her, and she remembered my prediction. Now she says they are not worried about lower limits unless you are suffering from a lot of lows to get there. Lindy It seems that her goal is to increase my A1C to a 6.5 or a 7.0, which would be quite acceptible to her.
