With Carnosine, you might want to supplement zinc. I am not sure if that would cause the bowel issue, but I just know about the zinc. I have some notes somewhere about carnosine, as I was jotting things down last week, just need to un-earth those notes. Hah :-)

 

Hi all:I have a 6 yo diagnosed with autism and we have been doing biomed almost 2 years.  She is GFCF and currently taking diflucan, probiotics, transfer factor and spectrum complete.  This past week I added L-Carnosine.  She has been taking it about 7 days now.  For the last 2 days she had bowel movements in her sleep, in bed and didn't even wake up.  There were normal, not loose.  This has never happened before.  Has anyone experienced something like else?  Any ideas why or what to do?
