Yes and theses retreats are sold out but she has one october 2011 in Monterey you can book now. However she has a workshop coming this ear to San Francisco no dates have been posted yet. But do check out her website she will send you a free chapter on her new book Women Food and God, I just finished it and I also just started her on-line retreat. You should check out her website. As best I can tell, she does one weeklong workshop per year (the one described in WFG) and a couple of two day workshops. This year, at least, the week long one was at a place called Mount Madonna center in Northern California. It's mostly a yoga retreat and has fairly inexpensive lodgings (you can even bring your own tent and camp for really cheap!). I considered trying to go as it's driving distance for me, but it was already sold out.

I did, however, find a weekend workshop in Seattle later this year. The cost of the workshop itself was pretty cheap. About $190, which isn't bad for two days. Of course, you do have to get there and stay, which, adds to the cost. But with online deals, I was able to get pretty cheap airfare. If you could get someone to go with you to share the hotel costs (or turn it into a vacation), it could probably be done pretty cost effectively.

Doesn't look like she does all that many in person events per year, so it's probably worth checking her site fairly regularly to get in on them early, if you're interested. And you never know when she'll do one that's relatively close to you, that you'd be able to drive to. (or maybe even in your home town!)
