You can look up " co-dependents anonymous " (CODA)

http://www.coda.org

to see if they have a meet-up group in your area

There is " NAMI " , the National Aliance on Mental Illness, and they have meet-up

groups in some areas:

http://www.nami.org/template.cfm?section=your_local_nami

There is also a website called " Meetup.com " which is about finding people in

your area who get together regarding their particular interest (photography

clubs, learning a foreign language groups, jam sessions, support groups, etc.)

A lot of churches offer counseling and support groups for their members.

best wishes,

and my therapist is no help. Whether it be for emotional, physical, or sexual

abuse, doesn't matter.
