Guest guest
Here goes. - this makes about 16-20 oz of juicer drink. USE organic fruits/veggies whenever possible. 2 - 1 1/2 inch 'slices' watermelon 1 lemon (rind removed) 1/2 Pineapple 2 golden delicious apples 1/4 of green cabbage 2 leaves and stalks of kale (just rinse) 1/2 inch ginger This is good. If you have issues with watermelon, remove it, it makes it really sweet (for kids). Add instead 2 ripe pears - peeled. As your child gets healthier, you will need less fruit to juice, and juice mostly vegetables (with some apples). My kids will drink anything I put in front of them!! But it's a great way to get nutrition in them and do it fast. and here is what it's good for... lemon is a wonderful liver detoxer, phlem remover, and turns alkaline in the body. Ginger is a wonderful anti-inflammatory, helps with nausea, and stops intestinal gas (need w/cabbage!) - it also has a binding agent called Gingerol - that delivers other herbs where they are supposed to go. Cabbage juice is said to have many healing properties for the intestines, honestly, you should google it, and read some articles, they are totally fascinating!! Kale is high in chlorophyll which has many healing properties, and wonderful for the immune system and detoxing value. Apples contain malic acid which is great for digestion, maintaining the liver is distributed quickly when apples are juiced. Apples also keep the arteries clear by breaking down plaque. and finally Pineapple. My favorite. It's loaded with digestive enzymes, anti-inflammatory, and rich in vitamins and minerals. You can just never go wrong with pineapple. Besides, it makes everything really tasty... laura
