Guest guest
Thanks M. and all for your support. I'm thinking about that Geenen Roth book - Feeding The Hungry Heart and maybe the opposite is true too - NOT Feeding a Hurting Heart ;-) Our bodies really do know best if we honor the messages we get from it. And a little less food is no worse than a little too much - it will balance out if we let it. ehugs, Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > > > I'm totally depressed at this moment. I'm suffering from a loss of dear ones and I have NO appetite. This is so foreign for me in that I usually have a 'cast iron' gut and eat regardless of what happens to me. I know this too will pass but wanted to post just to say what I usually would not say. Its my old stoic response in action. Don't want to put a damper on anyone there though. Its just where I am this day. > > > > Katcha > > IEing since March 2007 > > >

Guest guest
M., I am sorry for your loss and wish you all the best. - Katcha > > Hi Katcha, > I can totally relate! I also had a sudden loss and haven't been able to eat for two days... the thought of food makes me sick. Not sure what I should do, but I'm just listening to my body and praying that it will all be well. > M. > IEing since March 2007 > > >
Guest guest
Katcha, I'm happy to hear that the question sparked a reconnection to a way that you can provide loving care to yourself right now. My family is not very touchy/feel-ly too. However, I had a guy friend in undergrad who was a hugger and got my body indoctrinated into getting a hug every day. I miss that now because I know that it made a difference! Hope you're giving yourself and getting a lot of hugs and affection. Latoya:) > > > > Katcha, > > > > Wanted to send you a quick note to say that I'm thinking of you. Sounds like your body is expressing a form of its own grieving and giving tribute to the passing of your loved one(s) through a lack of appetite. And of course it will pass. > > > > I'm glad that you shared where you were with the group in your process. Have you noticed that your body is asking or wanting any things besides food for nourishment and care during this time? > > > > Sending you a big hug, > > Latoya > > Practicing IE since Dec '07.
