Guest guest
I just went through this so I'll chime in. You can usually smell the ammonia in the urine. I use yucca w/ my dd when her ammonia is up, I usually just give her 1 capsule, think it was from nature made. Upping probiotics (we used threelac but it does have casein) and also L-citrulline helps w/ ammonia as well. More veggies and less meat till it's under control. Good luck! > >> > >> > For those who treat their child with Rx systemic antifungals... > >> > how long have you found them to be effective at a time? > >> > > >> > My son has big yeast problems and we use both natural and Rx antifungals to > >>control it.. but he still has yeast flareups and we see times where the > >>antifungal seems to lose its effectiveness. > >> > > >> > We have been most successful on Diflucan( Nystatin and Amp B did nothing), > >>but felt we needed to rotate off it when it seemed to not control the yeast- so > >>we are on Nizoral now.
