I’ve been trying to get back on track with my eating lately. I’m coming to realize how much I stress eat. I had no idea! I’ve been really trying the past couple of days to focus on eating only when I’m hungry and living with the anxiety that I would normally stuff down with food. Last night I was feeling particularly stressed and anxious, mostly about money. I headed for the fridge and stopped myself. I decided to sit with the anxiety although it was really hard. Eventually, I decided I was hungry and ready to eat. I checked in with myself and decided to eat a banana instead of the chips I would have chosen otherwise. In the end, I felt a lot better! Today I went to the gym after a 2 week absence. My usual gym partner hasn’t been able to go as often as we used to but I went anyway. I feel better! I’m making progress!
