Coffee or Tea Between Meals

Hi, ,

I have tea whenever I feel like it. I find it soothing and comforting, and often I realize it's just what I want. I can't imagine that there's anything wrong with having a cup of tea. If you're trying to manipulate your hunger (i.e., put off eating) by having tea or coffee, you may want to ask yourself why you'd want to deny your body's legitimate hunger.

I do think it's also possible to overthink this stuff--I know I tend to do that. Those of us who've dieted for a long time also tend to want someone to give us permission to do things. It's hard to remember that it doesn't have to be written down anywhere for it to be ok for you to do it. Just follow what your body is telling you is right for you.

I hope this helps!

All best,

Laurie
