Guest guest Posted August 4, 2010 Report Share Posted August 4, 2010 Just wanted to let you know reading your account reminded me so much of what's it been like living with my nada who has BPD. When I was 22 and out of college I had to move back home to find a job and get enough money together to get my own apartment, which was originally the plan. I remember I lived home six months, was paying rent (granted it was nominal fee but still significant!) and was still getting grief and emotional and verbal abuse. The last straw was when she called me a slut in front of a stranger, who was a new friend she had made who was visiting. I got together w/ my friend at the time (friend from high school) and we found an affordable apartment together. When I shared this news w/ my mother, instead of being happy for me (which is the way it's SUPPOSED TO BE) -- --Sofia " Live all you can it's a mistake not to.
