This is good news as at least arthritis can be worked with and hopefully

made less painful.

Hi All,

Dr. called this morning and said that I have arthritis in my foot.

So he wants me to take tylenol or Advil and stay off my foot as much as

possible and keep it elevated.

So in a weird way it is good news because at least I know what we are

dealing with. But it still hurts.

He is coming tomorrow to see .

Hi Vivian,

I am taking some pain medication but the thing that stops it from hurting

the most is to get rest and keep it elevated.

And caring for does keep me up on me feet a lot. We fell asleep for

six hours last night and when I got up I could not even feel the foot. It

lasted for about 6 more hours but then it got painful again.

But as you say at least we know what we are dealing with.

I apologize for answering an old message, I had the wrong folder open. LOL!

I was looking at a folder I have called Care Givers And Prayer.

It was not my Inbox! Well it is still true now.I am wondering why I gid not

get my testing stuff Monday or yesterday so I need to call CCS Medical to

find out what the deal is. Luckily I still have some because I am not as

diligent about testing once or multiple times a day as some people in this

group. No I don;t think I am ever going to test nine times a day. I know I

should be more disciplined than I am and I am not getting readings that go

through the roof anymore. My weight is holding steady or even going down a

bit so I am not going to complain too bad.

But no way am I going to poke myself nine times in a day unless I was

ordered to by a doctor, that would be something different.

Then if they wanted that they would put one of those continuous monitors on

me.

I think a couple tests will be adequate. But I need to know where are my

test strips?
