Guest guest
Sound sensitivities are completely gone when we have our son's yeast and bacteria protocol high enough. Consider increasing until it's gone. We use GSE, OoO and OLE with biotin. We went from him punching us or climbing our bodies to get away from public toilets flushing and motorcycles on the street, to no reaction other than to say, " Oh, there's a motorcycle " . Carnivals used to be torture for him! When we slip up on his anti-microbials, his sound sensitivities come back. We've never needed therapy for any of his SPD symptoms, the right yeast/bacteria protocol does the trick for it all. Good luck! > > My son is nine and has become really sensitive to sound over the past year. We do all the biomed supps have increased his magnesium but he spends alot of time with his hands covering his ears. We were with his cousins today and they were all having a great time playing Wii. Luke was not playing but doing a puzzle in the same room. They kids were having a great time (maybe a little loud) and everyone seemed to be having fun. He went to the front door and wanted to leave. I have never tried Listening Therapy or AIT and was curious if someone knew if one over the other is better for sound sensitivity. > Thanks for your help, > beth >

Guest guest
! Thank you so much for this post. We've been dealing with sound sensitivity with our girl for a while. It causes so much anxiety for her that she sometimes wakes up with nightmares about how loud the lunchroom is at school. I mean, she's usually calling out every single car that passes by - even when we're in the back of the house... I put some garlic drops in her ears last night and this morning and so far she hasn't complained about one sound today... so, the drops are blocking or killing something. Either way, right?? LOL!! I don't know why we haven't thought of it until now - but sometimes its the simple answers staring you in the face that change the world right? JenTo: mb12 valtrex Sent: Thu, February 3, 2011 9:37:43 PMSubject: Re: therapies for sound sensitivity Hi Beth- Just wanted to let you know about a recent experience with this. I treat my son with autism biomedically but have learned a lot about my own health over the last 3 years. Anyway, I now know that I have candida/yeast issues and gut problems, etc. Recently I was getting this really bad sensitivity in my ears. My son is pretty loud all the time and sometimes screeches, and any loud noise would make me cover me ears. It felt like a strong reverberation and was uncomfortable/painful. It was like this for 2 weeks before I decided to try something. I put Ear Drops into my ears- like Wallys Ear Oil( garlic, olive oil, mullen) a couple of times for 2 days. I couldnt believe it, but the ringing/vibration/pain went away. Im convinced that this was yeast in the ears.. maybe bacterial. Either way, garlic is good for both. I know some people who treat ear infections with these drops, and I am definitely a believer now! I think it could be yeast/bacteria... and I got these ear drops at Whole Foods but they have them at natural food stores too. Good Luck! denise > > My son is nine and has become really sensitive to sound over the past year. Guest guest
My son gets itchy in the ears and he swats them when he has high yeast. I use hydrogen peroxide drops for him which helps the situation. > > > > My son is nine and has become really sensitive to sound over the past year. Guest guest
How many drops would you use in each ear for a 3-year old? And how long would you continue doing it? I plan to try this for my daughter with auditory sensory issues.
