Guest guest
Hi, just a quick update as to what is going on. I were contacted by the Transplant Unit at Shands Hospital. After having gone through the 3 days of testing to rule out any reason to not have the transplant, I have been informed that 3 more tests are necessary. The tests that seemed the most important, R & L heart cath, VQ scan, PFT, Abd ultrasound etc...came back normal. The remaining 3 tests include 2 blood tests (high liver and low WBC) and one other ( gastric emptying study). These should be accomplished in the next couple of weeks and I will then get the final answer from Shands. When we do, I will let you know. As always, thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
