Guest guest
Someone asked: " So here are my questions. Can Byetta be taken just by itself? Or is it usually taken in combination with something else? " It was originally used alone but now in combination with all major classes of diabetes drugs except such as those as januvia. " How often is it usually taken? " Almost always twice daily before the first and third meals. " What are some side affects you can have with it? " What are some of the major benefits you have seen, for yourself? " For some a side effect is significant weight loss. This is because it blunts appetite. It can have significant upset stomach effects in some which have caused a few to stop using it. Theese are the two major ones most reported, there are others less often reported. Recall that some have none of them. For some the weight and stomach effects decrease with time. I do not use it. I have for reasons of my own read extensively about it. There is a byetta yahoo group I follow. It can have remarkable effects in lowering bg and if weight loss occurs in an overall inprovement in diabetic health related issues. These effects are so obvious that some who do have stomach reactions continue to use it because nothing else has had such positive benefit for them. This includes for some stopping the use of all other diabetic drugs and using it alone. XB IC|XC
