I was very restrictive, so for me the food journals I used to keep only encouraged my obessesive behvior and restrictions. I knew the calorie count of everytihng I ate, and the idea of putting " cookie " in my journal freaked me out, so I avoided foods that I knew were " bad. " Of course, this only led to my ED behavior, so when I decided to start IE, I chose to no longer record my foods. For me, it is freeing to not have to worry about recording what/how much/calorie counts, and I am eating with much less stress and guilt on myself. > > > > Seth, > > > > I understand your concern.
