Hi Jen,

You said that you tried IE for one day and then went back to dieting. I

understand, because IE is soooo much harder than just having a diet do all the

thinking for you.

Starting IE all at once might have overwhelmed you, so maybe you should start

smaller. Instead of going full throttle, maybe focus on one principle at a time,

like honoring your hunger or eating without distraction. Or, try IE for one meal

a day. Better yet, try giving up calorie counting. That one was a huge step for

me, and I know how scary it is to sit down to a meal and trying to silence those

numbers running through your head.

Baby steps are still steps.
