Guest guest
Yes, we only have silk flowers inside now and I can still remember pre IPF buying fresh flowers weekly for in the family and dining room. We still have lots of flowers in our yard, deck and gardens. Of course this being Western Washington anyone can have a green thumb. I have a love hate relationship with hybrid roses. I've always grown them but they require so much work I chose Rugosa a wilder and heartier rose. I will probably, hopefully change that many times as my wife has been the Education Director for the Washington Nursery and Landscape Association for about the last 20 years and I still go to some chapter meetings and functions. I haven't been much(any) help for her in the gardens the last couple years but after starting my first pulmonary rehab program this week I'm hoping to help more soon. We have the mowing and hard labor done by a service and even I am so much a dreamer that I think I will ever do that again. Maybe if i got a electric start - nah. Anyway I ramble. Thanks again for your words of wisdom. It is possible to have a favorite variety of silk flower. Forget I said that. Sorry, they're beautiful but I'm against sneezing and congestion and sorethroats and more breathing issues. So, silk it shall be. Also, so muchless work. lolSee, its not that I don't appreciate the beauty of flowers, just can'tbe close to them. But, I do have some beautiful silk flowers and canchange them seasonally. Guest guest
, I would share that double-jointed Almond Joy with you. I love them because they are nutty, just like me. I do love daffodils, in part because they usually are the first real color of Spring, at least in Maine. Daffodils, wild turkeys and moose seem to come out of the woods about the same time.
