Guest guest
Hi Babs, I've had lots of help from May, she's fab! This week I've completely cut out sugar, including sweetners, and I've found that my craving for other sweet things has diminished too. Getting used to tea without sugar is a big deal at the mo, and there's no way I can manage coffee without, so I'll have to save that for a treat. I'm finding it easier to introduce one change and get used to that before I go on to the next change. I also put my veg and salad on the plate first, and plenty of it, so when it comes to putting the rest of it on, there's less room but I'm not going without food. I've dramatically cut down my bread intake, which has helped cut down the fat too. I have to prepare for a mid afternoon snack or else I'm too hungry before Rob is home for dinner and snack too much on whatever's to hand. I can't give up dairy. For a start I like it too much, and I was told when I was first put on the pred to make sure that I had some for the calcium. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Being a hippy chick at heart, (just born a bit too late ) I wear some odd combinations anyway. As Lili is 5, I don't embarrass her yet, but what's a parent for if they can't be an embarrassment to their kids Love Ze xx> > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > I saw my chest physician today, my results are> > FEV1-67%,> > > > > > > FVC-90%,> > > > > > > > > > > FEV1/FVC-78%, TLCO-23%, VA-82%, KCO-31%, these are> > > > slightly> > > > > > down> > > > > > > > on> > > > > > > > > > last> > > > > > > > > > > month.
