Guest guest
I needed to re-fill my Humalog pen prescription. Since my mother-in-law spotted a coupon in Good Housekeeping for a free box of 5 KwikPens, and I needed pens, I went and got them using this coupon. Well, imagine my delight to find out the pens still click!! yea!! I had some fear they would not, with the promotional blurbs I'd read talking about the dosage window or view window or something like that. The pens are slightly shorter, but they seem to be the same otherwise. You no longer align the dosage dial bump with another bump on the pen body. This had me worried at first, but once I went through the process, which is actually a tid bit smoother, it was a great relief to see that the operation is basically the same as using the old pens. You'll find, the dosage dial needs to be all the way to the left, which is the equivalent of aligning the little bumps on the old pens. Then it's just a matter of dialing (clicking) your dosage, and that's it. No pulling the knob out. And it also uses the same pen tips. If you know someone who gets Good Housekeeping, have them look for this coupon.
