Guest guest
I have done a ton of summer reading, mostly fiction chick stuff. Anywho… I read this book called " What comes after crazy " by Sandi Kahn Shelton and like I said its fiction. But man alive if that is not a BPD NPD book I'm not sure what is. The start of the book was so funny I was laughing so hard I was snorting and actually had to put the book down to catch my breath (scenes with the kids and the mom dating). But then the crazy mom came, and I was so mad at her and the way she treated her adult daughter, it was highly accurate of this behavior. When I chose the book I had no clue it was going to be about BPD/NPB I just randomly grabbed like 10 books to read. But that was a well written book. Some of the lines were the precise word my nada spoke to me " I made you strong " and other loads of bologna. In the story the nada tries to " divide and conquer " and kind of make teams. I was glad to see how the daughter handled things and watch her go through struggles that felt like I went through too throughout my whole life. It was pretty good, but sad all at once. Like I said, this is fiction and there are times it is funny silly romantic sad or down right makes you angry, but over all it is a good summer read for a female who is coping with a borderline mom, it made me feel a little less alone.
