Guest guest
Hello, all, Why do you have to do finger sticks if you have a monitor? I really can't figure this one out. Guest guest
They want you to test it and put your reading in, so that they know if you are reading it right when you do it yourself. The moniter is not a permament thing. They are very expensive, they had to check to make sure his insurance would pay for him to wear it a week. His kidney Dr. says the reason he has to still have the cather is because of his sugar. I see now that the moniter is here me to look at that is almost always running way to high but last night it went to 110 and for him that was to low because of his being so high most times and it alarmed. Guest guest
I DO TOO Becky. But the CMG machines do BG every 5 minutes or so and the doc can then look at the pattern of how your blood sugars run and adjust medication accordingly. _____ From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of Becky McCullough Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2011 12:04 PM To: blind-diabetics Subject: Re: Monitors I have a meeter.
