Guest guest
Hello CarolineYou have hit the nail on the head, by seeing it as bad rather than simply present. If you have no medical or stress reasons why your waking such as drops in blood sugar or hunger, or worry & your doctor has given you a clean bill of health then it is something which you will work through easier if you do not try to fight with it. It may be worth looking at ways to be more relaxed at sleep time, & ways of enhancing sleep. Such as self hypnosis, meditation etc. Until your stress issues have been resolved trying to stop the night eating will not be an easy task. You can have a greater feeling of control, you can give yourself permission to eat during the night rather than feeling wrong for doing it. Stress first - eating second.Best WishesPam
