What a great example of listening to your body's signals, J! If you'd eaten something else, you may have still wanted the chips until you got them. You inspire me.

I just wanted to share with everyone that I ate a bag of chips for breakfast this morning. It was what I wanted and it tasted really good and it made me happy. I did not food police myself or make myself feel bad about it either.awesome :)

Way to go! Great minds seem to think alike: I had insomnia last night and when I got hungry at about 2:00 AM I had corn chips and fresh pineapple, which actually went together deliciously and completely satisfied!April M. I saw this article today, Three Ideas for Befriending Your Body, that spoke to some of my questions:http://blogs.psychcentral.com/weightless/2011/03/3-ideas-for-befriending-your-body/I thought I would share it in case anyone else is looking for tips to help reverse the negative inner monologue. I love the suggestion to just say "hi" to your reflection.>> Thanks for the suggestions and links, Casey and Alana. I liked the idea of "projecting" negative thoughts on a screen and watching them as if they were part of a movie. I will try that this week!> >
