Guest guest
Hi everyone, After a year of trying to get my DS to poop everyday, we have achieved nirvana - he's pooping at least once a day. . . sometimes twice or thrice. At the same time we have seen an increase in language (from one word request standard to 3 words and sentences). Also, his chronically stuffy nose has cleared and he seems much happier. My toe-walker has even started to walk flat footed more often. What has me confused is that the only things that we changed was adding raw pear to his diet. He's been eating cooked pear sauce for at least a year. Granted, we were close to getting a poop every day, but couldn't quite get there until we added the pear. We now juice the pear and he drinks a pear 3 times a day. We also take the pureed fiber/pulp and add it to his cooked sauce. So my question is why would giving him raw pear clear his sinuses, get him talking, and make him poop (okay, I know pear has a mild laxative so I guess I get the poop, but the difference in effect between raw and cooked is crazy)? Would getting him pooping and getting toxins out quicker cause this effect? Could the pears have enhanced his immune system? I'm asking because we have a sad history of exciting break throughs which end with us crashing back to normal. I'm trying to sustain these changes and figure out how to move us forward. I recently added kale to his juice with no objections, but I haven't seen further improvements. . . yet. For background, we currently are on Diflucan, Valtrex, DRN Multivitamin, LDN, Liver Life, digestive enzymes, probiotics, prebiotics, maintenance dose for Vitamin A therapy and nothing has made the difference of the unassuming pear. Thanks for any thoughts on this,
Guest guest
For , I've gone really slow with juicer drinks. I've mainly used pear and kale. Occasionally, I have tried a bit of cabbage and some pineapple. Since has IGG, eczema flaring reactions to so many things, I'm very tentative. That said, I've been on a 60% raw diet for a few months and cayenne pepper (tiny amount - I don't taste the heat) and ginger in the morning definitely clear my sinuses for the day. I can't wait to try this with because unfortunately, the stuffy nose is back (pooping still wonderful). Alas, the struggle continues. Thanks everyone for the insights! > > > > Hi everyone, > > After a year of trying to get my DS to poop everyday, we have achieved nirvana - he's pooping at least once a day. . . sometimes twice or thrice.
