When I was reading about ringworm and parasites last night, I saw a couple of different articles that said seizures might be a sign of parasites. While your son's episodes might not be seizures in the conventional sense, I'd say it's worth considering - especially since they found a postive. You might be on to something.

When my son had his first episode, stopped breathing , they tested him for everything under the son. the only thing came back positive (barely, but still positive) is Klebsiella Pneumonia. . They were shocked, and so was I, but they did not about it. Please update me if you find out more about this, or even TX.ThanksP/S its been 1 year and 6 months when this test was performed Tunde

Two weeks ago I gave my son a suppository without a glove (bad idea mommy) and immediately developed a severe infection in my finger. I expected it was a hangnail that had been infected with ecoli, but it worsened so I've gotten a culture on it and received results that it's ' Klebsiella Pheumenioa', an infection which only occurs in alcoholic old men and people with immune disease. Neither apply to myself so my theory is that my little boy's carrying this bizarre strain....anyone heard of it?
