pimples with whitehead

Hello! I have searched the archives and have not found what I needed. My son got

some red pimples on his bottom about 3 weeks ago. I thought they were irritation

or just " pimples " like grown ups get. (he is 5). then he got 3 on his face and

these developed a white head just like a pimple. That was about 2 weeks ago. Now

he has a few others on arms and legs. They all start off looking like a bug bite

or a pimple, then they get the white head, then they start to fade. The ones on

his bottom lasted 3 weeks and now are dry and almost crusty, but not crusty. The

face spots are 2 weeks old and look like old bug bites that are fading. The

newer ones on arms and legs are several days old and they are bright red and

itchy. One of them almost looks like it's getting crusty, but I think he's been

scratching at that one.

My whole family has been taking turns having colds and fevers so I can't say if

the spots correlated with fever.

Enhansa is our anti-viral. We had just increased from 300 to 600 mg when the

butt spots appeared. It's been 2 or 3 weeks on 600mg per day. We had bad

behaviors and stimming since then, things we haven't seen in months or longer,

like OCD and melt-downs over nothing. I suspected a yeast flare up so I started

GSE and more probiotics, plus some biotin. It's only been a day of that.

I don't think it's chicken pox because the spots never get oozey or runny or

crusty. I looked at pictures of strep rash and that doesn't look like it. I

can't find a picture of staph to compare. Our DAN is virtually unreachable and

not helpful, and our pediatrician isn't a believer in this stuff, so I am on my

own here. Help?

Thanks,
