because each one of us has to take such things to the heart of our

being. We are the ones that live inside the bodies, so " experience " all

that is and may happen to these bodies.

However, the experience takes place inside, or to say, that which is not

the body but the operating function of it...the mind. It is, and will be

how we look at all that is happening now.

Are these things happening? Of course they are, and so much more you

don't even yet fathom. Should you be considering some alternatives to

how to handle things, absolutely. But whatever you choose to do, choose

from the true self within.

VERY WELL SAID DEREK!!!

I do like your community idea... and have often thought

of the same idea... however, I don't live in the country.

It's not that I will sit here, wait and do nothing...

it more about the fact of the reality cards I'm dealt.

There's not much I CAN do, really. So why fret over it?

Financially... my family and I are pretty much

stuck here (for now)... so we would have to deal with

what comes our way... with appreciation for the life, love

and lessons we've experienced so far. Maybe doors

will open... maybe they won't. But I will trust that

everything is happening as it should. That I am where

I am... because that is where I'm needed and meant

to be.

The only thing my heart really aches for... is my children.

All our little ones. All that they will have to witness and

go through with or without us.... should we make it

through the turbulent times that certainly lie ahead for

all of us.

That's a great point. We also live close in and is considered in the

city, though not " in " completely. We live in a smaller home that was the

workers houses of the 50's and 60's for an old cotton mill up the

street. The thing is, there's no real place for a garden, and what is

there, I wouldn't plant in due to toxins in the soil. Nearly everyone

whose lived here for years has some sort of cancer or sickness where

they become weaker and weaker by it.

I did get some huge planters and good soil to plant some veggies in and

work ok, and can be moved when we do.

We had lived in the place in the country I mentioned earlier, and had

been working on buying it from the owners, but it went back to the bank

because they had defaulted. When we moved, it was partly so T was close

in to work [gas prices], and it was affordable on such short time to

locate something.

Like you, and many others, to move now would require moving help [$],

moving truck [$], finding a place that a decent deal could be worked out

on, etc... That doesn't include the incidentals of utility change overs,

more fuel for traveling to work, if the same jobs are kelp for now,

since many are experiencing jobs going away.

Everything says " go now " , though the wallet doesn't...but that could be

a real two edged sword.

That's why more people should talk among themselves about the need and

want of relocating. If a big flood was coming and we could predict that

it would affect us unless we go to higher ground, we'd be gone,

regardless.

This falls into that kind of thing more and more...the flood is coming.

Look, everybody send me a few hundred to a few thousand each, I'll find

the land with water, wells, springs, plenty of resources to sustain and

buy it for us all, then all ya have to do is move to it... " together "

we'll figure out how to live, work and combine our resources and ideas

to help us all. Well, maybe your not there yet, that's ok...would any of

us do that? Too may still " thinking on it " , or not at all. Things are

still " good " where they may be.

The point of that statement is, people with this kind of thinking DO

need to begin talking among themselves and know that most CAN'T do it

alone...from the start of it to the doing of it as a " community " , all

must be working towards that end, knowing some will be able to give of

more of one thing than another.

Most of us have " family " all over, and even if you told them about such

an idea to move together on a piece of land, most of them would think

you nuts, or being too " end of the world " oriented. So you have to look

to " second families " , people of like mind. No one runs an intentional

community as a head. It is run together as a whole.

Do with what you have where you are now, but remember to use the law of

attraction, and your thoughts about those who share ideas to find each

other and the right situations and circumstances will come about. But it

won't happen if you don't put it out there for others to know.

If I had a few million I'd already found a place, built it, and moved

you all to it...come what may...lol. But nothing has to be so big or

expensive.....it can be done almost anywhere with the right group of

people who pool what they have so all in that group/family are lifted up

higher, and supported by each other. Let that be a lesson, alone does

not ONE make...we need all our " parts " to be whole...intentionally

creating small communities, in the same home, or on a piece of land that

is sustainable for the number, creates possibilities not afforded a

single piece by itself.

By the way, don't send me any money, lol....but do make your decisions

that may require you put all you have into it, as agreeable to all

concerned.
