Guest guest
Hi Zanna.... If your appt is next week to see the new Rheumy, I would hold off on getting labs done until you see the new guy. He's going to want to do them in his lab because all labs are different. Plus, he might want to look at other things... so save that blood and that's also one less poke! <grin> OH MY GOSH..... you made my day kiddo... I'm so thrilled he's nice and you were able to talk with him. Sounds like a really great doctor. HEEHAW.....NO ILD! Oh I already LOVE this guy. I do remember your last Rheumy telling you that he saw some honeycombing.... but like I've said before... a Rheumy has no business telling a patient what's inside a persons lungs when they have never studied the lungs nor the many diseases of the lungs. That's great he's going to talk with your cardiologist because that could very well be where it's coming from. Between the two of them, you're in good hands and I know they will find out the problem. LOL.... that's how my PFT's are scheduled... I take the test and then I get to see my doctor. I don't have to wait weeks for the results because it's right there. Ask for a copy of your tests for your files... I check my tests all the time. It's fun to see how my lungs have changed since 98 to present. Your very welcome Zanna, any time I can help I will .... I'm just so darn thrilled you got in to see him and that he's going to keep on top of all of this. You REALLY made my day.... LOL Now, I hope the new Rheumy is equally as nice and informative with you as your Pulmonary doctor. That would make the rest of the year for me. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you. You must be so thrill about your new doctor.... I think it's wonderful to have someone you can talk to and he's not intimidated by your knowledge. I know you're having a great day... but, I'll say it anyway... HAVE A GREAT DAY! Vicki
