Hello,

My name is Theresa and I am interested in maintaining an intuitive eating stance in my life and work life. I feel I do pretty good but at times eat things that I really don't want and sometimes more than I need (and often eat too fast). But, I often say to myself - really, this is normal eating - sometimes we eat less, sometimes we eat more than we physically need. I know I could take care of myself better, and hope to keep working on this. I also want to teach my children this (by example) as they grow and become adults - hoping to help them avoid the typical traps of societal pressures to be excessively thin or over emphasis on having big muscles for my son!

Looking forward to lots of great discussion and support!

Theresa

I’m a newbie, too (joined yesterday).

The process of self-discovery that we’re all engaged in is

wonderful. Welcome to the group.
