Mama Sher, Your doctor sounds like a

His attitude about your condition and o2 use is very understandable.

There has been some progression

but nothing gigantic. That's about it in a nutshell.

We did discuss the change in my

IPF dx to NSIP (by another Dr.) and this one says he does not agree. I

definitely have a form of PF but he is not sure "what form". He says I

have an "atypical" form because of the pattern of progression (or lack

of).

But what the hell, it's all PF

when the chips are called in,  so I'm just not going to focus on it.

The way it is is the way it is.

I am very grateful there has been

little progression and I did talk with him about being so sob and yet

my sats are normal. He says I'm sob because I have a lung disease and

my lungs are stiff and will get stiffer. So when I'm sob, sit and rest

until I'm better, or if O2 helps, use it. Regardless of what the sats

"read".

Now this is a logical answer and

one I can understand.
