Hi Alla,I recently lost my grandmother and the day after she was buried I had to put my dog to sleep. It has been a terribly rough time over the past two weeks and I know exactly where you are coming from. I too have turned to food at times in order to feel better about the chaos that I cannot control. Lately I've been journaling to keep better track of when I am hungry and when I am full. This helps me to keep myself in the present moment and to only focus on caring for myself, not shoveling food into my body as a way to cope. There are still times when I choose to eat things despite not being hungry, but it seems the more focus I have the better this gets.Maybe take some time

for yourself today, sit outside, read, take a bath, take a walk, paint your nails, anything that you like that will give you some time away from the stress and time to focus on yourself. I'll keep you in my thoughts, take care,Tai
