Guest guest
They actually can get much bigger too, depending on the species. Our children are a perfect host for them. It really is awful. I have two dogs and two cats and I now treat them yearly for worms. Depending on the drug used you may not see the dead worm come out because it just kills it and it disintegrates in their body. Not really very good since the dead worm releases toxins into their body. Much better if you get them to expel the worm. That can only be done by giving them something that stuns the worm, and then something else to speed up the intestines to get rid of it while it is stunned and not able to hold onto the intestines. You also have to give them something to kill any eggs or follow up again in two weeks to kill newly hatched eggs. It's quite a chore. After reading and Stan's post last night, I googled images for tapeworms so I would know exactly what to look for. Holy moses! They're certainly easy to recognize. I was shocked when they reported it was 7 1/2 feet, but after looking, I guess that's pretty common. Still, to think of that in a little bitty child is awful. I will never look at poop the same again, and I doubt I'll be simply flushing without a more thorough investigation anytime soon. lol. My poor dog---I find myself looking at him with very suspicious eyes. lol -TammyFrom: Callari To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Thu, February 10, 2011 8:59:18 AMSubject: Re: doesn't sit for poop .. wants to be on this stomach Oh my goodness! You must have been horrified and thrilled all at the same time! (Horrified it had been in there and thrilled it was out.) I have to ask - what did you do with the worm? Did you take it to the doctor or photograph it? So many people don't want to believe that we can have worms that I would have wanted to "prove" it had come out. Guest guest
I will need to get some coconut. I find using more than one thing that works at the same time is far more effective since they work together to get rid of the wretched worms.Hi Ana,I got some bromelin for my son in powder form. The direction said to give 1/16th of a tsp in water but it doesn't say how often. i found it very helpful for him to give it twice a day since it has the enzyme in it for digestion too, as well as the anti inflammatory helping his headaches. Ever since I used it he practically do not need the other enzyme. Also, I read about coconut that is being used to de-worm people. Some countries use it regularly once a month to keep themselves healthy and get rid of worms.I had worm problem with my son, who contracted it in school. No medicine could get rid of it and I had to resort to coconut. It really worked, but I still do maintenance on him once a month. Coconut seems to work very well for so many things as well as the pineapple.TundeOn Thu, Feb 10, 2011 at 1:29 AM, and Stan wrote: Hi Soraya,I knew the test results were wrong, because when I first started using the Aloe Vera juice he immediately had yellow stinky diarrhea. At that time he was in diapers still. I changed his diaper and then about 5 minutes later I could smell that his bum was dirty again. When I had a look there was very little diarrhea, but there was something cream coloured that looked like a piece of rigatoni with a slight lip on one side. I had a hunch it was a tapeworm segment and went online to find pictures. It didn't take long to find a photo that looked just like what was in his diaper. That made me think back to a time when I saw something else in his diaper that did not make sense at the time. It was when he was quite young, before 1 year old. It was the first of the morning diaper, and just had pee in it. But right under his anus was a pile of round gel like things. The pile was so symmetrical, and I thought that it was gel from his diaper. But that didn't really make sense because there was no obvious rip in the lining or anything else to explain what it would be. I tossed the diaper away, but afterward I remember thinking I should have taken it to the doctor to see. I decided if I saw it again I would, but that was the only I saw the gel-like things in his diaper. I now believe those were tapeworm eggs. With the memory of those round gel things and the segment that came out later with the diarrhea when he was almost 4, I knew I had a tapeworm to deal with. I felt so guilty for not taking that pile of gel to the doctor. What was most frustrating was that the stool samples just kept coming back negative. I was so glad I stuck to treating for it. I have been thinking maybe I should start again, because I am not certain that I got the head. I had to stop because his food sensitivity test was positive to black wall nut (which is in the Paragone) and I needed to stop giving it to him. If the test If the head was left in his body then it will have grown back again.Oh I forgot to add Bromelain to the list of supplements in my previous e-mail. Bromelain comes from pineapple, and is handy with digestion. I also found out that in some countries they use Pineapple to help get rid of tapeworms so I added it to Stan's supplements. It also works good as an anti-inflammatory so it was a good multi purpose supplement.Hi , that is amazing what you said about your son's tapeworm. My son has tested negative for parasites twice in the last year, but the more I find out about them, the more I think he might have worms of some type. What made you persevere for 6 months on Paragon when you had negative test results? My son used to do exactly the same thing. He would pee in the toilet, but would get a pull up and put it on and then stand in a corner in his bedroom to poop. He was badly constipated with little black goat poops. We have fixed this and he now has mostly normal looking poops and sits on the toilet with no problem. It was a long road to where we are now.You absolutely need to get rid of the constipation if you want this to change. Don't use things like Miralax if you can avoid them. Things we used to get here are:Psyllium husk is good to add bulk to stool.Make sure they drink lots of water.Aloe vera added to juice. 2 ounces 2x day. If you get really stinky yellow diarrhea when you first start. Don't stop. This is good. Keep your eyes open for segments of tapeworm. This is what happened with us.Tapeworms actually stun the intestines so that they do not contract as often, which slows the food down in your intestines and allows the tapeworm to absorb the nutrients from the food you eat. They also cause inflammation.Grind up pumpkin seed and add to a banana smoothie - adds fibre and will help kill tapeworm. If you see any tapeworm segments you will need to eradicate the tapeworm. We used Paragone, and it took about 6 months of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. No real sign of it until finally one day there was one bowel movement which was half poop and half tapeworm. Unravelled to 7 feet. this came out of my 4 1/2 year old son. Multiple stool samples before this came back negative, so don't count on them to be accurate. They are not.Chlorella is good.Grapefruit Seed Extract - great for yeastOlive Leaf Extract and ic good for bacteria and get the bile production up and will help kill tapeworm.ResveratrolCod liver oil and NutraSea Vege oil - this is important because it is great for the brain and also makes the poop softer.Magnesium will help.Probiotics very important.Went through a phase of diarrhea that was hot and bubbly too. That was yeast. Olive leaf extract, and GSE took care of that.Today, if I forget the pumpkin seeds, magnesium, oils, or turrneric we see more constipation but nothing like the black goat poops he used to have.Any questions, please ask. This is so important to get under control. Stan is now 5 1/2 and has up to 3 poops a day (while sitting on the toilet) and for the most part they all look great.I've read about this before. I have a 3 year old sister in law (yes, you read that right!). with ASD symptoms and she will not sit to poop, either. She brings her mom a diaper then she'll stand someplace quiet to go. She pees on the toilet no problem. I believe its called "posturing" and it's a very good indication of GI issues. (If there's inflammation, it might hurt to sit and strain). It can also be difficult for kids to poop if their feet can't touch the floor. Try putting a stool under his feet so he feels steady and stable. hth-TammyFrom: Mom Sent: Wed, February 9, 2011 11:21:18 AMSubject: doesn't sit for poop .. wants to be on this stomach Hi All,My son doesn't sit down for poop even in his diapers. Guest guest
Maybe you should should cook and butter with the refined, then used a spoon of unrefined each day for worms. I know I have to get alot better at saving links for references, but many articles I read call for the unrefined for worms. Coconut is good stuff and it's so yummy! Makes for very smooth skin and you get the benefits like eating it. Only " lotion " i use anymore. Cheryl

Guest guest
So your son has worms. There are so many ways to treat worms. First decision is naturals and meds? Or both? Herbals remedies include paracleanse, clarkia 100, amish herbal dewormer, humaworm. Read up and get recommendations from other parents. We have used clarkia 100 for my son, but are planning to switch to meds. I am currently taking alinia and amish dewormer. Usually with worms, the whole family needs to be treated. Unfortunately, DANs are still pretty slow on worms and usually prescribe a single pill and repeat in 2 weeks treatment, much like you would treat a yeast infection in a healthy person. Well, they know that does not work in our kids for yeast, I am suprised they are still treating worms so insufficiently in our kids. If you are not in NY and have seen the worms, ask for the metametrix DNA stool test for parasites. Caryn > > Wow!! Guest guest
Many people find that a combination of black walnut and wormwood work well for parasites. The stuff tastes terrible, like strong clove, but can be put on the feet if it is in a liquid form. Cleansing is most effective if done for 30 days, starting 4 days before the full moon as parasites lay their eggs around the full moon. As Caryn said, it is suggested that you treat the whole family when cleansing for parasites. Dr. Suzanne Fleeson-DaSilva www.biomedicaldoc.com > > > > Wow!! Guest guest
Dr. Fleeson-DaSilva, you're saying that a liquid combo of black walnut and wormwood applied topically is effective for treating parasites? I ask because my son gags when I have to give him anything by mouth that tastes bad, and he won't swallow it. So if I could find something to treat parasites some other way that would be great. Is it safe to give black walnut & wormwood before I get him tested for parasites? I am so sure he has them, and I suspect I do too, and I'd like to start treating right away. We meet with a new DAN, Dr. Megson next week. Many people find that a combination of black walnut and wormwood work well for parasites. The stuff tastes terrible, like strong clove, but can be put on the feet if it is in a liquid form. Guest guest
Yes, I have found it to be effective. Start slow though to avoid major die-off reactions. It would have some effect on the test for parasites. However, many parents have reported that their child's parasite tests have come back negative even when they suspected parasites and have seen positive with doing a parasite cleanse despite the test results. If you are concerned though, consult your Dr. before treating. Dr. Suzanne DaSilva www.biomedicaldoc.com > > > > > > Wow!! Guest guest
sounds like a back up and yeast issues From: T Lynn Sent: Thursday, February 10, 2011 8:14 AM To: mb12 valtrex Subject: Re: doesn't sit for poop .. wants to be on this stomach I know. My efforts to talk to them about this has been fruitless. I've tried and tried. Another thing: this little girl also has severe tooth decay. I don't know if this could be a link to what's going on in her body (??) Her mother suffered horribly from anorexia in her college years. So it could just be a matter of that, too. -Tammy To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Wed, February 9, 2011 10:34:24 PMSubject: Re: doesn't sit for poop .. wants to be on this stomach Miralax is soooo bad for you. It's so bad there's a yahoo group dedicated to its dangers. Cheryl ~http://www.gryffins-tail.blogspot.com~ ~@Gryffins_Tail~ I should've added that she's a constipated kid and lives on Miralax (sigh). He only poops on the toilet if we let him perch on it. Like stand on the seat and then squat down. He's not a real bad gi kid other than chronic constipation. when we keep up with the fiber and he's going regularly after a while he will start to sit, but if we let up then he starts to perch again.. I think it's due to constipation and the strain it puts on there lower stomach and bowels. just a thought.... Try putting a stool under his feet so he feels steady and stable. hth-Tammy Sent: Wed, February 9, 2011 11:21:18 AMSubject: doesn't sit for poop .. wants to be on this stomach Hi All, My son doesn't sit down for poop even in his diapers. He always want to lie on his stomach on the floor and pass motion. I have tried to change but he doesn't listen. He wants to kneel on the couch with his legs on the floor but doesn't want to sit. Does this mean anything? What should I do? 3yrs old ASD ... will start cheltion soon
