Guest guest
Thank you dot.dan, that would be me, sugar, sugar would be that " someone... " again, thanks for your inputhave a blessed day " When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us. " - Helen Keller ~Sugar Sugar Free Rice Pudding After noting that carb info was not included and a diabetic was at a loss to evaluate the pudding, someone was of the view: " as I always say in the past, not all diabetics are the same, therefor, some of us can have it, and if we do, we play with our meal plans to be able to enjoy such desserts once in a while " Me: And then you post an item that goes exactly against your idea. Alone it provided no way to know how many carbs were included in a serving and how big in measure a serving is. While there is variation in how many carbs we can eat we first need to know how many carbs we are putting into our mouths for it to be useful in any meaningful way. The item while sugar free was packed with carbs. How many, it is anyone's guess. Sugar free is a trap for diabetics, carb content is all that counts. Guest guest
Someone wanted to know how using brown rice would modify the carb content. Using one of the food databases online it appears that brown rice has by measure about 1/3 less carbs. We would still need to know the total carb count for any modification and how much in each serving and what carb content from the other ingredients. With the info provided it is just a pure guess at this point. XB IC|XC
