what to do with a defective meter

When you have a meter problem, dont' bother with the pharmacy call the

manufacturer. Life Scan can test over the phone and fix it or send you a new

one if it is deficient. Never used any other brand but they msut be

similair

Sometimes it will out of range, so we do it over and it is fine. Of course

the amount of blood makes the difference sometimes. But other times I

might do a BS 3 times because I am quite sure the numbers don't make sense. We

have 2 meters and we have taken them back to where we got them and they

keep saying they are find. Oh, well we will keep trying.
