Guest guest
So I applied Mentholatum ointment on my son's feet for 2 nights in a row, but he is still congested during the day. I also used saline drops, but it doesn't seem to help. Someone mentioned nose clips (not sure what they are) and NeilMed. I haven't tried NeilMed yet. I was also wondering if his stuffy nose could be bacteria related. We are giving him meds to kill the yeast and may be bacteria is taking over. He also developed a rash around his mouth that is called impetigo (it is clearing up because I am applying Mupirocin cream), but he is still congested. Any ideas? Thank you, Dovile Hi All, My son is going through a lot of die-off right now and his nose is so congested he has to breathe through his mouth. Also, he hasn't been eating much, because I think he has hard time swallowing the food. Does anyone know a good remedy to help with congestion? I did give charcoal to help with die-off, but it didn't help with congestion. I also use electrical pump to suck all the boogers (we call it "booger extractor"). Any ideas? Thank you, Dovile Bored stiff? Loosen up...Download and play hundreds of games for free on Yahoo! Games.

Guest guest
Yes, yes, yes!! Actually, my son is taking a nap right now, so I have time to make more juice. I added fennel to his juice yesterday and I will be adding fennel again today and apples and pineapple and all the other good stuff. Guest guest
The nose clips are called Breath Right for Kids.I buy ours at Target in the pharmacy area. You wash the outside of your childs nostrils or upper area of the nose.Dry. Then stick these stickers that have maybe a wire inside the sticker. It keeps the air way open from the outside of the nose.     I don't know about anything else that was mentioned.        Good luck, Tammy F.  So I applied Mentholatum ointment on my son's feet for 2 nights in a row, but he is still congested during the day. Guest guest
Have you tried Coconut Water? It's really high in potassium, and great for getting electrolytes back in order. (If you were going shopping!) My son takes it fine in pineapple juice (doesn't notice it) ... When I see a sign of a cold coming on, I always supplement their juices with it. laura > > > >  > > > > > > Hi All, >  > My son is going through a lot of die-off right now and his nose is so congested he has to breathe through his mouth. Guest guest
We have tried it before, but my son might be sensitive to coconut oil, milk, etc., so I haven't been using it lately. Yes, coconut water doesn't taste that good. But I have been giving my son Monolaurin for some time now, so hopefully it is helping as well. Guest guest
Yeah, poor Rob! LOL! She's my 'relief' for three months out of the year. She takes him to get his glasses done (he gets his prescription moved up closer to his actual prescription annually) and she gets all his dental stuff done for me. She's a nurse (at a nursing home) and is wonderful in the biomed area. She really pushed me into it. When I started having issues with Jimmy, she was there, telling me what to do, but I couldn't hear her, as I wasn't *there* yet. She told me not to vaccinate, she was there telling me to take B12 during my pregnancy...She's awesome. When I finally *arrived* she never made me feel dumb, stupid, or said " I told you so. " -- I'm lucky I have her. All of Rob's metal will be out on Feb. 21. The daily assault will stop at that point...what a relief. Then the FUN begins.... laura > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi All, > > >  > > > My son is going through a lot of die-off right now and his nose is so > >congested he has to breathe through his mouth. Guest guest
Yes, the mentholatum on feet is not a decongestant per se, it just helps to sleep while congested so you can rest.
