Guest guest
Hi,, I use Liberty for my supplies. I called the other day and they said they weren't going to carry meters from Byer meters or supplies for them anymore,.,. then said I could have a new meter, Liberty Meter,, I didn't need a new meter. Maybe when we are eligable for a new meter they all want to upgrade us so they can make there money. ________________________________ To: blind-diabetics Sent: Thursday, October 6, 2011 3:23 PM Subject: a question about suplies  I just received a telephone call from the company that supplies my test strips, lancets, and insulin. By the way, they have been sending my supplies for several months. Now they are calling me to ask me where they are getting the Prodigy test strips, because they haven't sold them since 2004. They are wanting to send me a meter that is not totally accessible for a totally blind diabetic. I have tried to explain this to them for awhile. It is like talking to a brick wall. I keep insisting that my Prodigy Voice meter is working just fine. They just don't get it. I asked them to please not send the meter and strips. I explained that I have allot of the strips for the Prodigy meter right now. I forgot the name of the meter that they want or are sending me. I do know that it is not accessible for me to utilize all of the functions like the Prodigy Voice. How in the world do you make these people understand that the meter I have now is working well, no problems, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it! They just keep saying I need to upgrade my meter. I was just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem that I am having with their supplier. Arlene
Guest guest
I suppose, if possible, go to another compnay. Or look into it and then inform the company of your intentions. a question about suplies I just received a telephone call from the company that supplies my test strips, lancets, and insulin.
