Guest guest
My son's dentist already wants us to see an orthodontist (he's 8, for crying out loud)...I'm holding off til his teen years because I have the same worries. I wonder if invisi-line is BPA free?? To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Fri, February 4, 2011 7:29:03 PMSubject: Braces....what's the verdict? Hello, My son needs braces. I do see that about him. My problem is that I worry about side effects. I once met a women who told me that her son (who had recovered) regressed after braces. I would only consider porcelain ones but I still worry. Have any of you had any experience with this at all? Any advice would be much appreciated. At this point, I am not going to get them, unless I can find a way that is safe and non-toxic, which I don't really find to be true. Thank you! Guest guest
I work for a dental company.....I will see if I can find out. The big buzz in the industry is the BPA in sealants.....many of the Mfrs have come out and said theirs are BPA free. I think there are a lot of iffy things in dental for our kids. Bonding agents, etchants, cements...etc. Not to mention my kid at this point couldn't handle the sensory of braces! Funny that everyone questions the BPA but not the mercury in amalgams.... -- Kasey Dettinger ---- laurargoddin wrote: > You know, I wondered that myself (if Invisi-line was BPA free..) > > if you find out, post it! laura > > > > > > My son's dentist already wants us to see an orthodontist (he's 8, for crying out > > loud)...I'm holding off til his teen years because I have the same worries. Guest guest
I would go for a consult....just because there are some things that they can do that may be preventative so that it may not be such a difficult case. If they actually want to put full blown braces on before they have all of their adult teeth - don't do it. My daughter needed a space maintainer because her lowers are so crowded. Just a thought...... -- Kasey Dettinger ---- T Lynn wrote: > I googled.
