Guest guest
Hi, Norma, and welcome! You may be looking at a different IE book than the one we're discussing, which is "Intuitive Eating: A Revolutionary Program that Works," by Tribole and Resch. When I just checked on Amazon.com, it was listed at $10.76. Nothing wrong with getting it from the library, though! Tribole and Resch do suggest that you pay attention while eating, though they are careful to stress that theirs are guidelines, not strict rules (WFG is a little more adamant about guidelines). For example, Tribole and Resch say that eating in the car is probably not ideal, since your mind is on the road (hopefully!), but they say that if that's the only way you can sometimes satisfy your hunger, then it's ok. If you're doing it all the time, you probably want to look at why your life is constructed in such a way that you can't take a half hour to sit and enjoy your meals! I look forward to hearing more from you. All best, Laurie I am New Too Hello I am new to this too. I read WFG and went looking for a group and found this. I do not have the EI book but ordered it from our library as it is over 60 dollars at Amazon. SO far what I have been for the last week is eating when I am hungry and satisfied and the hardest thing to do is eat without reading or watching TV. Not sure if these things are suggested in EI as they are in WFG . Any thanks Norma Norma -------Original Message-------
