Guest guest
MB...thanks for the needymeds site. I do remember now that you posted this before. I will surely contact them. Meds are high enough but to now have to pay 100% of the highest ones too is impossible. Thanks again. MamaSher, age 69. IPF 3-06, OR. NasturtiumsDon't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Sher-Meds Sher, www.needymeds.com has links to most of the different manufacturers for their various programs for low or no cost meds for those who need them. I've been able to get my meds through a couple of these programs. Hope that helps. Beth Age 48 Fibrotic NSIP 06/06 UCTD 07/08 Change everything. Guest guest
MB... I've been looking at this site and apparently, one cannot have Rx insurance and must be UNDER 65, We do have it even tho' I'm now in the "hole"...guess that takes care of that. Drats! Guest guest
Sher, There are many many programs from different manufacturers listed on this site. Some have requirements as you state and others do not. For example, and has a program for the Fentanyl pain patch (Duragesic) that has no age requirement. Some of the requirements as far as coverage goes are somewhat vague and poorly worded. I'm just saying that it might be worth the effort to look up the individual meds you're concerned about and call the toll free numbers and talk to someone about whether they can fit you into their requirements. The worst they can say is no and maybe you'll find something! Worst case scenario you've wasted some time. Beth Age 48 Fibrotic NSIP 06/06 UCTD 07/08 Change everything.
