Guest guest
I have good friends and a good life on Facebook. My mom's there, even, and things are okay. My dad, though, recently joined facebook and I had to find that out through the " recommended friends " section because he friended one of my friends first? WTH?? I hate what we have to deal with. Maybe it's that, not Facebook. Anyway, I know you guys understand the feeling that comes with that. Thanks for letting me vent. Tina
Guest guest
yeah, there is a line in T.S. Eliot (and there's a facebook group for this too but I digress) in Prufrock about, paraphrasing, something throwing the nerves in a pattern up on a screen, that is what facebook sometimes reminds me of, it makes the unknown known, which can be painful. Hugs. I'm not on there and when I was I didn't have any family friended. don't have the constitution for it. And now my crazy bpd SIL who is doing her level best to wreck my parents home and all our lives is posting garbage about my family so I am soooooooooo glad not to be on there and that I never friended her when I was on there. > > I have good friends and a good life on Facebook.
