Guest guest
Meg, I continue to struggle with this issue, perhaps partly because of a medication that I am on - just thinking about different foods can make me feel queasy. One thing I tried is subscribing to a cooking magazine. I chose Cooking Light because they have photos of every recipe. Looking at it can trigger queasiness sometimes, but I am hoping if I pick the right time that it will inspire me! It's no fun to be hungry and have nothing that sounds good! Hopefully it passes for both of us. Good luck! Abby Hi Meg! I had that problem as well. It's hard to figure out, but I made a point of it to start learning/cooking new recipes, eating foods I've never tried, and breaking out of eating habits. Anything that my family say they want from a restaurant, I go out and buy the ingredients then try to make it myself (but better). It has really opened doors for me and let me realize that the best food experiences happen when YOU put the effort and thought into creating the meal. Intuitive eating has turned me into quite the food snob (I mean, I used to eat Cheetos off the floor)! I love that my daily eating experience is dynamic and fulfilling. It makes it hard to get bored. - >> Hey Al...
