Guest guest
Ginger!! It works WONDERFULLY! I used it juicing(raw) - I put it in tea, I sauteed it with onions and garlic (and chicken). If you want something quick - ginger tea. They also make ginger chews (I saw them at my health food store.) I ate a LOT of ginger...so good for you too! Try to eat it throughout the day...the mornings was when it was worst, and before coffee, I had a juicer drink with 1 " of ginger..it's makes the juice have 'bite' -- but the sick feeling was gone within 20 min. laura > > Hi All! > > Anyone have any good remedies for Nausea and headaches during pregnancy? Guest guest
Altoids even makes a ginger candy. It's disgusting. But it takes away the stomach blech. Disgusting is a good thing if you don't want to eat them like, uh, candy. :-) Ginger!! It works WONDERFULLY! Guest guest
For Nausea I would eat ice chips and saltine crackers. Don't know why but the combo really helped. I think the crackers helps to soak up acidity in your stomach. Also eating 5-6 small meals throughout the day so that you don't over eat and get nauseous but also so that you don't have an empty stomach which could also cause nausea from gastric juices. Also try to have a small snack before bed, for me it reduced waking up with morning sickness. I also used to get this aromatherapy peppermint cream from a store called " Origins " that makes natural soaps and beauty products. I would put a little on my temples and under my nose and it would really help a lot. It also helped immensely with headaches. I'm usually not a believer in aromatherapy but I was so desparate when I was preggo and it really helped! Good luck and feel better! > > Hi All! > > Anyone have any good remedies for Nausea and headaches during pregnancy? I have > a history of severe nausea, headaches and vomitting.
