Guest guest
Ive always found my mothers relationships with other people fascinating - in a wierd " cant stop looking at the car crash " fascinating. She hated anyone who was opinionated, who didnt believe everything she said, andone who stood up to her, ESPECIALLY if they laughed at her. My goid, she hated them and would nuts doing a community wide smear campaign. But people who were creepy, soft-spoken, snakey wierdos she seemed to love. She left my step-dad for a while to move in with a guy called " Mr Honey " who was the creepiest bastard Ive ever met. She loved a teacher of mine that turned out to be a paedophile - and to this day thinks the sun shines out of his ass. If she makes friends with a normal person, it will last a couple of months at best before Mum is accusing them of all sorts of hiddeous things. One of the reasons I make sure she never gets the phone numbers of any guy's family I go out with - she becomes their best buddy (and I squirm while they tell me how lovely my mother is) and before long she is harassing them and making their lives hell. > > Has anyone noticed that they seem to hate one another? Guest guest
My nada seems to be vulnerable to other manipulative people, oddly enough. Particularly if any man pays her any attention at all, she eats it up and doesn't notice or care if he then starts asking her for money. Over my lifetime it would also seem that my nada would want to befriend anyone with whom I'd had a falling out or felt jealous of or competitive with. Mine can't stand other women who, like herself, are very opinionated, condescending and bossy, who crave to be the center of attention, or who act like a demanding, spoiled brat. Go figure. -Annie > > > > Has anyone noticed that they seem to hate one another?
