Newbie and thoughts

Hi all... I'm fairly new to the board (within a couple weeks). I enjoy reading everyone's posts and find them helpful to be reminded of staying on track with IE. I've been practicing for a couple weeks and it has been, for the most part, fairly easy. I think because I'm thrilled to not have to count calories and to be able to eat some of the foods I rarely allow myself while counting calories. I also find that I enjoy the food more when I wait until I'm hungry, so it's been an enjoyable process and it feels good taking care of myself. I noticed something tonight... I ate my dinner and didn't crave sweets like I usually do when calorie counting. I just ate and was done... my mind wasn't trying to figure out what kind of sweet thing I could sneak in or cheat...

probably because there's no such thing as cheating anymore. I like that.Just wanted to share. Have a great night!
