i know that the more carbs and sugar it makes us hungrier i noticed when i had

lost all my weight and was eating better i wasnt as hungrey .

How come does it work this way?

You know, I did eat right to day and by dinner I wasn't hungry. use to I could

eat everything in sight and more and never fill the empty spot I felt. nothing

was satisfying and I would eat more and more trying to find the perfect food

that would satisfy. but of course I never could find it. I have notice in the

past when I did have days where I would eat right and ride my bike, that I felt

like I do to day. Maybe to many carbs and the wrong carbs at that make you more

hungry, instead of taking the craving away? I bet you they put certain chemicals

in fast food junk that make you crave more and more of the junk. Restaurants

couldn't stay in business if they only served healthy food and the right size

portions. people who did eat there would be satisfied and wouldn't come back as

much. plus most folks would complain because the portion size was to small for

the money. Super size America is how it is these days for a fact. actually a

portion isn't much more then a half of a cup. When they showed me that in the

hospital four years ago I just about lost my mind! a half of a cup? to me that

is one spoon full. I got to reprogram my thinking all the way across. instead of

large, go for small instead. I find it much easier to stay home and eat and not

go out to eat where you can be tempted enough to give in and do really bad. you

save money and you can eat right at home because you know what is in the food

you eat. I bet there are as many people running around right now in this country

who are as well a type 2 diabetic. the thing is they don't know it yet. being

over weight is the main cause for type 2 and there is a lot of folks piling in

at all the all you can eat restaurants every where. I really never did like a

all you can eat type restaurant. I never could eat more then 2 plates at the

most and always felt like poop warmed over after I went home. All a person can

eat is a bad thing. I use to love going to the Olive garden and eating about 4

big bowls of the salad they are famous for. then I found out that the dressing

they use on the salad jacks up the carbs in that wonderful salad. so then I

understood why I ate there later I felt like my sugar was out the roof and it

was always. you can even eat to much salad even if you leave off the dressing.

the saying, all you can eat is a very bad thing to get in your head and let it

become a habit and a way of thinking. maybe our grocery bill will go down if I

stop eating all I can eat. Now this sounds like a deal to me!

remember restaurants are a business. and a business is there to make money,

bottom line. they make money off of people like you. they throw sugar in

everything. put money in your own pocket and eat at home. eat healthyer and

wiser. feel better, change your lifestyle and love yourself. karen
