So my son got his poop test back and once again has low secretory IGA AND now has blood in his poop. He has been bloated for about 4 weeks, full of gas. Any suggesions? Also it shows up that he has low beneficial bacteria yet he is on a bunch of Kirkman probiotics. Any suggestions? Don't be flakey. Get Yahoo! Mail for Mobile and always stay connected to friends. Guest guest
I wouldn't give him something that you know gets him out of control. He might be getting that way because he's allergic to yeast, which Sac B. is. Cheryl ~http://www.gryffins-tail.blogspot.com~~@Gryffins_Tail~ They sell coconut kefir at Whole Foods, it's liquid right? Guest guest
I don't know if they sell it already prepared. But it's easy enough to make. Get a young coconut (it will be green, not brown and hairy), cut off thin slices at the bottom until you see three white spots that resemble a smiley face, pierce the biggest white spot and drain the coconut water into a jar. You can add a probiotic to it to get it started if you feel like it, but you don't have to. Cover with cheese cloth (or cap it) and let it sit in a dark place @ room temp for 1-2 days. Stick in the frij and voila! You're good to go. I've been attempting to get my son on the sacc b for a month now. I wasn't sure if it was coincidence that his bad days happen on sacc b days....I've tried enough times to conclude that the stuff just doesn't agree with him....so we'll move on to the kefir. -Tammy To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Mon, February 14, 2011 5:28:56 PMSubject: Re: HELP! poop test back not so good!
