It's so great that you experienced the space of being able to experience those

uncomfortable feelings. I definitely believe that that experience is one of your

intuitive eating milestones! Over time, you will be able to experience those

feelings more and more, use food less and less, and discover a whole range of

ways (like the hike you did) to care for yourself even in the midst of

uncertainty. That was no small step...that was a huge step!

Hi,

, so sorry to hear about your employment woes; your feelings under the situation are certainly understandable. Your positive response to them though is not a small step but a big one! You should be proud of yourself! And I think it was quite brave of you too because it is so much easier and less painful to try and "fix" the feelings with food rather than allowing yourself to feel them.
